Mrs. Moreno
Head Director
Liz Edwards Moreno graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelors in Music Education, Summa Cum Laude with Honors in 2007. She started teaching at Killian Middle School in 2008. Since the school opened, Mrs. Moreno has grown the program from 35 members to 240 + members. She presented 3rd Annual MS/JH Conference at the University of North Texas on the topic of the Beginning Boys Choir. Mrs. Moreno also works with the Children's Chorus of Greater Dallas, and is a member of TCDA and TMEA.

Ms. Pineau
Assistant Director
Bridgette Pineau graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelors of Music with an emphasis on Vocal Music Education, Magna Cum Laude in 2019. She started teaching at Killian Middle School in 2022. Before teaching at Killian, Ms. Pineau taught for 3 years in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD at Bush Middle School and Ranchview High School. Ms. Pineau splits her time between Killian Middle School Choir and The Colony High School Choir. She works with the Junior Varsity Treble Choir, the Beginning Treble Choir, and the Varsity Tenor Bass Choir. In addition to her teaching in LISD, Ms. Pineau also serves as Children's Choir Director and Alto Section Leader at Spring Valley UMC, and she is an active member of TCDA and TMEA.
